My Dogs

Image
I absolutely love my dogs!!! Penny Poo Poo is the little Chihuahua/Whippet mix, I got her 12 years ago after my son passed away. She's been the BEST dog since she was a puppy, quiet and well mannered with long legs like a Whippet- the only thing Chihuahua about her is her size. Priscilla is a Pit Bull rescue that I got 2 years ago. I never thought I'd ever be a Pit Bull owner because of the history of the breed, but she is such a lovable sweetheart! She's a quiet dog as well but I nicknamed her Dumpy because she's pretty sloppy in her mannerisms.

American Film Market

Image
One of my red carpet pictures at The American Film Market in Santa Monica. It was the first time I had ever been to this event and I had a BLAST! The American Film Market is a convention where low budget film makers have the opportunity to pitch their projects to distributors. Distribution is key to film making, because why go through all the time, money, and effort to make a film if nobody has the ability to watch it? Fun Fact: A low budget film is any movie made under 2 million dollars.

Fitness Pic 2020

Image
An oldie but still a goodie! I'm constantly working on my fitness and trying to keep up with my skincare lol. I took this picture at the end of 2020. The pandemic wasn't easy for any of us, but I did my best to not let it destroy me mentally and physically. I'm one of those people where my weight is directly affected by my mood, but I also do my best to not let my mood destroy my fitness goals.

Be Authentically YOU!!

Image
Just because I look a certain way, doesn't make me any less of a professional. I dress for the occasion, and I know when I have to look more conservative for meetings or events. Today was not that day! If my look scares you, then I don't want to do business with you anyways. I dress loud to weed out the fake people from my life. Ya'll have a good day now!! This is a picture of my friend and book client Ken Kraus, we are currently on a book tour for our book A Marine Endures Hell.

8 Things Random People Say to Me Because I am Heavily Tattooed

I come into contact with all sorts of people when I leave my office. When making eye contact I smile politely, say hello like a normal person, or just mind my own business. Occasionally, I run into some pretty negative people though. While these types used to bother me, I just carry on with my day because I’m pretty positive that I don’t need to prove my self-worth to some random jerk. Here are the top 8 things random people say to me because I am heavily tattooed. 1.    1. “Doesn't that hurt?” People always say this with a snarled upper lip too, as if my appearance is truly disgusting to them. I always wonder what these types of people do for a living, and I hope it doesn’t involve caring for children, the sick, or the elderly because this question is straight up foolish. Of course it hurts- they certainly weren't licked on by baby unicorns. 2.      2.  “You must have trouble finding a job.” To think that my appearance would hinder my ability to f...

Veal Parm at Marios in Ormond

Image
One of my favorite places to eat is Mario's in Ormond Beach, FL. I literally order the same thing every time I go there, Veal Parmesan. The red sauce that they make there is TO DIE FOR! It's a family run restaurant that has been around for over 20 years. Aside from the food I like this place because of the ambiance and extremely polite employees.

Good Book of the Month

Image
I go through so many books on my Kindle because it’s hard to find an easy read that keeps me turning the page, or if I can even get past the first few paragraphs! I'm very critical about what I read, so when I recommend a book there is definitely a reason for it. My pick for the month of November is  The Enemy We Know by Donna White Glaser  and it happens to be FREE on Kindle. If you have the same trouble finding a book like I do you should totally look her up!
